Welcome to the latest episode of.........
Coopville Diaries!!
dumdumdum...
After the spa day last week the girls seemed to be very happy and relaxed.
Today was grass cutting day and they love grass cutting day!
They can't wait to see what jumps out of the grass as I go by.
Rod Stewart is carefully watching over his girls as usual.
He is very protective of them.
I think he has forgiven me for kicking him and he has not tried to jump on me anymore.
Natasha (who thinks she is a Russian spy) has convinced Tillie to go in the shed and do some dirty work for her.
Tillie.....don't let Natasha get you in trouble.
So everything was going great until.......
we started having trouble with the girls next door!
We think they are from California.....they're all young and tan and blonde....bleh.
Everything was fine until we heard them playing music...of course it was "they wish they all could be California girls"...and they played it over and over.
And of course our song would be more like...
"Fat Bottom Girls"
And their rooster.......we call him Dude....because he thinks he's a surfer dude.
He spikes his comb as high as it will go.
He was like "Hey Rod...dude....what's up with your hair?" "It's like narly and so retro....not cool dude...not cool." "You and your fat girls probably like that 70's music too..haha...so old...dude."
But Rod played it cool and looked at "Dude" in his cage with his young, pretty girls.
As Rod was walking away he said.. "Hey Dude" "have you ever heard of that 70's song... Free Bird?"
And he walked away free into the sunset with a smile on his face.
Well played Rod Stewart......well played.
And that concludes this episode of.....
Coopville Diaries!!!!

Way to go, Rod. Keep that other rooster in his place.
Wow! All the drama this summer! But I love it!
Hahaha. Fat Bottom Girls, too funny! I think that would be my girls' song as well. That first shot with the flowers is so pretty :)
Ha-ha, I love it! Your chickens are adorable and I enjoyed the story.
Love the Coopville Diaires. Rod should think "if you think I'm sexy" .... Love the fat bottom girls. Keep the diaries going I love it.
I meant he need to sing "If you think I'm sexy"...can't spell today.
Was it the Beach Boys version of California Girls, or David Lee Roth?
Rod Stewart needs to tell the dude that fat bottomed girls are just more to love. :)
Love your chicken stories!
Rod Stewart! I love it! Fun post.
Two roosters = trouble ! Rod may be forced to teach Dude who's boss if Dude ever gets out of the cage..
By the way...NEVER cross a chicken with a guitar....it'll pluck itself to death!
Oh, and what do you get when you cross a chicken with a train? Feathers....all over the place!
LOL- well played indeed...gotta love Rod. He can strut it with the big boys all day long. Now I have Fat Bottom Girls running through my head...got that album here somewhere, too. Someone told me the other night that they thought we could have chickens here in town...I so need to check that out. I know after the first encounter, the cats would leave them alone...might take care of the neighborhood strays, too. Its the coyotes I worry about.
Thank you Dixie Heath...:)) I'm so glad you stopped in and left a comment...made my day...:))
Leave It To Davis....of course it was the Beach Boys version...:) Love the chicken jokes...I read them to my husband....:))))
Unknown.....I hope they don't ever have to fight.....Rod can talk the talk but I don't know if can walk the walk...lol
Ok here I am going to a previous blog because the first was so funny. I might be up all night catching up. Hmm shouldn't I be doing something constructive!? NAH!
Merrilyn
oh yes what a glorious first shot with the flowers. I'll see you one Beach Boys and raise you a Queen classic! The free rangers win.
