I woke up this morning with Thank You on my lips.
Thank you Lord for this day.
Thank you for loved ones.
Thank you for friends.
Thank you for our furry friends.
But those are the easy ones.
Someone is mean to your child.
Thank you for the opportunity to teach my child to love even your enemies.
Walmart and fast food lines.
Thank you Lord for the opportunity to model patience and kindness
but also for having food so available to us.
Some men, women and children have no food.
Thank you for us not having to carry buckets of water for miles and
still not be sure it is safe to drink.
Thank you for a roof over our heads.
Thank you that we have to make a decision whether to drink coffee or tea.
We can't even see how rich we are.
Thank you for churches and education and the freedoms we take for granted.
Thank you for your book...the Bible...to give us the answers.
Thank you for hardships and crisis so that our faith has the opportunity to grow.
I can think of hundreds of thanks yous that could take up an entire day
so why waste a second with complaints.
Please keep Thank You on my lips Lord.
Thank you for unconditional love.
