Please Keep Thank You On My Lips....

I woke up this morning with Thank You on my lips.

Thank you Lord for this day.

Thank you for loved ones.

Thank you for friends.

Thank you for our furry friends.

But those are the easy ones.

Someone is mean to your child.

Thank you for the opportunity to teach my child to love even your enemies.

Walmart and fast food lines.

Thank you Lord for the opportunity to model patience and kindness

but also for having food so available to us.

Some men, women and children have no food.

Thank you for us not having to carry buckets of water for miles and

still not be sure it is safe to drink.

Thank you for a roof over our heads.

Thank you that we have to make a decision whether to drink coffee or tea.

We can't even see how rich we are.

Thank you for churches and education and the freedoms we take for granted.

Thank you for your book...the give us the answers.

Thank you for hardships and crisis so that our faith has the opportunity to grow.

I can think of hundreds of thanks yous that could take up an entire day

so why waste a second  with complaints.

Please keep Thank You on my lips Lord.

Thank you for unconditional love.

Thank you

Thank you

Thank you

Dear Sweet Lisa...your words are so beautifully written and resonate so strongly and deeply in my own heart, in my own life. So "THANK YOU" for always sharing your faith, your love, your words and most of all for somehow knowing just how much on any given day your words are so meaningful to so many. You have no idea how you have touched my life and my heart. I love you...thank you!!!

We have so much to be thankful for! I will remember this next time I start to complain. Can I just say that I really like your new spring time header? So pretty! And in that last photo the yellow color is so beautiful.

I like your new header! Yes, so many times it's easy to get caught up with the piddly negative things in our lives, and completely overlook the good. Your post is a nice reminder of the blessings we have.
