Saturday and Sunday

 Wasn't the Super Moon beautiful?

I sure hope you all got to see it!

Do you see the light in the window on the top pic?

That was me earlier that night (because of course it was not me then because I was taking the picture.)
(why did I feel the need to tell y'all that?)

anyway....

that was me.....still in Quick Books Hades....

moving on......that's all I'm going to say about that (in my Forest Gump voice)

If you have been reading my blog very long then you know one of our (me and hubby) favorite

things to do is ride the roads.....especially the dirt roads.

With the windows down and the radio on and the dogs in the back.

We sure do solve a lot of life's problems that way....:)

At the end of some of those dirt roads are friends of ours with a barn and some cows.

Now if you have cows and are not taking photos of them.....shame on you!

They love to have their photos taken!...:)

Aren't they so cute!

Then today I got outside before church and took these photos.

Orange kitty is a stray that has been staying at my house for months now.

My male kitty is not happy about this tom living here.

I didn't know Tom has been leasing the big bird house to live in.

I think the birds have been evicted......(I hope that is what happened to them)

Well...that concludes my Saturday and Sunday.

I hope yours was enjoyable as well.

If the Lord is willing we will rise tomorrow with a brand new day.

And don't forget we get to choose the attitude we will enjoy it with.

I hope you make the right choice....:)

That moon was so awesome! We solve a lot of our problems driving our golf cart down the back gravel roads around us. Why is it cows like their pictures taken? lol...

So much in one post! I missed the super moon, cloud covered here.
Love your photo of it and the light in the window.
Hubby and I took a drive down country roads today, too. Its the peaceful time we share. I take photos and he drives slow and we just take it all in. Radio on, dog on my lap. LOL
I love taking photos of cows! I have some on my post, too. They do love it!
Oh, Tom is funny in the bird house...maybe he is confused. Rod should have a talk with him about the birds and the bees.
Have a blessed week!

Wow, Lisa, you sure got a lot done in one weekend: captured a super moon, rode with the wind and philosophized where it would take you, visited some cow folk and came home to a 'squatting' cat! Last I checked in on myself, I remembered that 'Gratitude is the attitude' and I try not to forget it!

Paul Harvey had a great short essay on dirt roads that I love. I have somewhere buried deep on my blog. Such a simple, yet vanishing part of our rural lives. I still go down a dirt road to get to my family reunion.

lol.....I read this post after reading the post about how horrible life is and how mad you are at the fact you have an empty nest. Ironic. Sometimes, we need to go back and read our own words of wisdom. :) Hugs, dear one!
