Christmas Doings

What?!!

I'm sorry!!!!!

It's been a while since I've been here.

I'm trying to do my Christmas decorating.....

okay....I'm mostly touring all of the Christmas homes on the blogs...

are you kidding me?!!!

Have you seen these?!!!

The mantels, the garland, the TREES!!!

I dragged out all of my crap, junk, stuff and

I would just happen to walk by my computer and before you know it

I'm oohing and aahing and crying about my crap, junk,  stuff.

I HAD to buy a new tree...

we   I   remodeled,  bought some new furniture and now there is no room for a tree.

I must have a skinny tree!

A cheap, skinny tree!

So I go get one. (what else was I suppose to do?)

I forgot to get rid of the evidence, take the tree box off of the front porch

and dear hubby came home from work and asked

"are you smoking the credit card?"
(meaning is it on fire from all the purchases)

And I said

"no"
(with a slight tremble to my voice).

And now I'm hiding in the laundry room cutting the price tags off of other

critically needed Christmas decor.

WHAT?!!
(hubby is calling from the living room)

WHY CAN'T I HAVE  A CUTE (flammable) POM POM GARLAND HANGING IN

FRONT OF THE FIREPLACE?!!!!

But honey......the bloggers...

What's that?

If you hear the word blog again you are taking my credit card?

Gotta go girls....

(whispering) I'll see you tomorrow when I check out your........ummm..... computer sites....wink wink

LOL- your hubby and mine must be related. Mine supports my blogging, though. He thinks I help people. I help them go nuts!
Where did you find those chairs? I have not seen anything like those around here, but I haven't really been furniture shopping in years. The furniture store here doesn't have anything new in it. The guy keeps ordering the same old boring stuff.

So pretty Lisa...I love your new chairs and your tree is AMAZING...I had to get one of those skinny trees too and it fits perfect in a small space and I love it. Had it for many years. I've missed you...but I have been away for a bit too from blogging. My hubby is going in for a bone marrow biopsy on Friday and we've been overwhelmed with medical appointments etc. He's not doing too good so hope I can count on you for a prayer or two. I've just been trying to be as supportive as I can...the waiting game is the hardest waiting to find out the results. Love and Blessings and Hugs.

Beautiful! You did GOOD! I have had a tree just like that for years... the perfect size. I got mine at Lowe's. Those chairs are gorgeous, by the way!

Love your new blog header! I live in "Christmas Tree farm" land so we always go and cut our own. (Or buy from the corner tree lot if we get lazy....)

Haha, too funny! I loooove your decor! The tree is really cute and I love how skinny it is. And I adore those curtains and chairs...it's all so pretty!

Your Christmas tree is very pretty – must look great in low lights. I did watch your Auburn Alabama game and could not believe the end – what an upset! And that guy ran so fast! My daughter and family in Nashville went to see the Vanderbilt-Wake Forest game, and Vanderbild won, and my husband family watched the OSU versus Michigan game and Ohio won, then my daughter and son-in-law watched the GA – Yellow Jacket game and GA won – so it was a special Saturday for sure! Now we have to get ready for the Christmas season.

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to make the house all Chrismasy looking. And, boy, don't we get great inspiration from each other!!
