Pity Party!!

Wow!

I find myself saying that to my computer screen all the time.

Pinterest people are seriously talented!

My fellow bloggers are first class designers!

And then it begins......

the pity party of one.

What was I thinking?

Posting dark, blurry images of my brown house, with brown walls, with pieces of wood nailed to the wall to hang garden supplies on!

Oh my!

Sure....some of my sweet friends will get on here and say

I love your house...it looks great!

Baloney!!

I've got eyes!!

I try....I do.....it just doesn't come out right.

You post this.....

I come up with this...

it's not mine but it could be....

You post this...

I come up with this...

You see what I'm saying?

And the blog parties always say share your latest fall designs or  your mantle makeover or your
white perfect kitchen

okay they don't say that but it may as well.

I'm thinking "do I share my failed laundry room organization or maybe the post about getting all tangled

up in the dog leash?"

What about the post when I get the lawnmower stuck....

does it really fall under "show and tell Friday"?

I even have to major crop my chicken pics to not show the one with

the bald back or the other one that limps and none of them are laying eggs where they are suppose to!

Maybe I should just go back to reading the blogs.....

I remember thinking while I was reading the blogs.....I can do that!

Ha!

You all make it sound so easy.......bah humbug!

Are there any other lazy, unorganized, bad luck bloggers out there?

Thank goodness God gave me the ability to laugh about it all.

I need blog parties called

Monday's madness

What you tore up Tuesday

Wacky Wednesday

Things I ate that I wasn't suppose to Thursday

Friday Fiasco

Now......that's better....:)

I hope you have a fabulous Friday and I will be back next week to blog about

my

Friday Fiasco.

Girl...you need to start your own linky parties for sure! I'd link up to them in a heartbeat! Do you know, I feel exactly the same way as you....the perfect houses, the wonderful cooks that make up their own recipes, etc...that's not me either. Here's the way I see it...there must be something about us that appeals to someone as long as they are reading and commenting. If I see that is not happening anymore, I'm outta blogland, Sista!

Haha, oh my gosh, you crack me up. I just heard something on the news the other day about how so many moms are depressed because they can't live up to the image that pinterest portrays. I don't think anyone can live up to that!

NO! Please don't stop posting, the threat of it, has moved me from lurker to commentator!! You make me smile and laugh, and that's good medicine! I love hearing about your relationship w/ your hubby and your life, you are perfectly imperfect, just like the rest of us!! Don't change a thing!! :)

You keep posting on your life- its real. Its fun, well, sometimes just hilarious and you are the cutest thing ever. I love bald chickens and stuck lawn mowers. I think you should do one of those blog parties. I can relate to these. Your pity party just got bigger. We are all coming to that one!
Hang in there- no ones house looks like that all the time. Mine lasts about 10 minutes. Between guys and cats and the dog, pffffttt, its over. But I dream and I dream big. I post weeds and dead and droopy. Every now and then, it just works, but there are days when it doesn't. You don't want to see my laundry area...dead man's zone. Keep it real, keep laughing and get back to the chicken chronicles. I hope its not Rod Stewart that went bald. Now that would be funny. Love your blog, girl. ;)

You sound like me! I feel the same way!!! I have none of those things the "high octane" bloggers" post. I was happy and not missing s thing until I started blogging!! Oh well. We do what we can, I guess. Keep the faith, Kris. I like visiting here. xo

Oh Lisa, I love your posts!... real life posts are the best of all... and I DO NOT have an all white house, nor will I ever have one!... I am just "me", plain and simple!... no fancy nancy here... I have done a number of posts in the past urging bloggers to please be themselves... hey, if someone loves a "velvet Elvis" in their living room... well, it's not me, but if it is them, then I say go for it!... I don't follow fads or trends and have asked myself often if I even fit into this place called Blogland... and even said goodbye to everyone several times... but then, I miss all the truly nice ladies out there... blogging is not a competition for me... if people like what I post, that's nice... if they don't, that is okay too... I have always danced to a different drum I guess... I think a party about what I ate that I shouldn't have would be great!... I just ate a huge piece of apple pie I made with ice cream on it today for my lunch... apples are good for you, ya know!... and those skinny jeans... yikes!... give me a nice boot cut pair, a comfy sweater and my Reeboks and I am good to go!... love you!... you are adorable... xoxo Julie Marie

Oh my gosh!!! You crack me up and I am so happy when I read your crazy posts :)

Remember, I'm the one jealous and wanting to live in your chicken house area!!

I'll take REAL and NORMAL over stuffy, fake, and fancy, any day!!

You are real. I choose real over fake anyday. Please don't stop being you.

You should see what I crop out of some photos! LOL, I live in my house. You can still eat off the floor (and you'd probably have a pretty nutritious dinner from it too!) You should have a linky Show Me Your Mess party, it would be fun!

Oh my stars ~you are so very talented at making us laugh. What a fun~ cute post.
I so know what you mean. I get discouraged looking at Pinterest but decided it is because we see so much beauty from so many sources. Sometimes I just decide I want to be me and my style is what I like. Who wants to be like everyone else anyway?

Your post blessed my heart and made me smile!
Keep being YOU!
