So I really hope I am making the right changes with Bloglovin.

I hope the button on the sidebar works!

I really hope I don't lose any of you.....I enjoy your comments and reading all of your blogs.

Maybe I will get better at this technical stuff.

Coopville Diaries - Episode 3

As we left off last week Rod Stewart had already left Millie and was flirting with Lucy the redhead.

But Natasha went through with her reconstructive surgery and now is a stunning, black haired beauty!

And don't think that Rod Stewart has not noticed.

He can't take his eyes off of this dark haired beauty!

But unfortunately for Rod, Millie and Lucy took her aside and explained what a womanizer Rod is.

And now Natasha won't give him the time of day.

Will Rod ever win over Natasha?

Will all the girls turn their backs on him?

Wow this is getting interesting to watch......

Two Beautiful Garden Tours

Last week I had the pleasure to visit not one but two of my friends/neighbors beautiful gardens.

The first is my friend Helen.

She has a beautiful home and the shrubs in the front are quite pretty but......

don't let that fool you......

This entire hillside is covered with flowers!

Her pretty kitty and her daylillies...

Now lets walk around to the back.....

Her pavers are so cute....her grandchildren made them....

I love her bottle tree....

the ivy on her pool wall.....

this is her arbor in her backyard....

I love this combination of lilac and yellow....

wow....didn't I tell you it was beautiful?

I don't want to leave but let's go a little farther down the road and visit my friend Mrs. Shirley.

This patio is in the back of her house.....

Oh I would spend many hours out here....

I can just imagine sitting there drinking coffee with this view.....sigh...

Every corner is full of flowers....

I love the birdhouse on the post....

this is her cute little front porch........

I tiptoed to take this photo.....didn't want to wake the doberman.....

ahhh.......beautiful......

She even took us inside to drink some lemonade.....

Sorry the photos are so dark....it was an overcast day....

but this sunroom was beautiful.....trust me.....


Maybe both ladies will let me tour their homes and I can blog about that later......

So the tour is over....

I went straight home and cried and pouted and fussed at my husband about helping me more in the yard  dreamed of what I could do in my own yard.

Fishing Under The Super Moon

My hubby and I set off on this beautiful day to do a little fishing.....

And away we go.....

We pass by this cute house right on the water.....sigh....

Am I stalking y'all....yes..yes I am...please don't call the police....

I really want to live here......

Anyway......the sky was bright, the water was smooth, and we were ready to sink a hook....

Being the great fisher woman that I am I was ready to get to work.......here fishy, fishy.....

Two casts in and I had the biggest backlash ever in the history of backlashes.....I dragged my line and worked on that backlash for 30 minutes but finally had to utter the two worst words ever..

uhhhh honey?

He worked and worked but it was unfixable so he cut the line and we started over.....

We even caught a few fish.....well he caught most of them....I had to take these awesome photos (and possibly may have had a few more backlashes that I couldn't tell hubby about)

We came up on this little bird at one of our spots.....

Hello little birdie....

Well excuse me!!

Sheesh....bad tempered little birdie...

Then the sun starts to set and it's time to go home....

And as we round a bend......there it is......

the Super Moon!

I went a little photo crazy.....

I knew y'all would appreciate it....(let me live in my on little dream world..ok?)

Isn't this exciting?!!....:))))

Ok....that was it....aren't you disappointed that it is over?...:)

Of course there is always tomorrow.......

A Walkabout With The Chickens and A Finished Project

It is such a beautiful morning today I decided to get my coffee and walk around with the chickens.

I love dappled shade areas...

The coop needs some weeds pulled and a little TLC....

I love my Bottle Brush plant.....

Since I can't attack the chickens I will just tear up this landscape fabric......

Good morning sweet Bucky....(he had a stroke last year and part of his face sags..but he is fine)

Hello garden fairy.....whatcha reading?

And now.....drum roll please......I finally finished a project and I'm happy with it! Yea!

Doesn't this look easy to do......

It only took 25 trips to the hardware store, 3 drills, 3 cans of spray paint, 1 bag of mulch, 5 trips to Walmart, 

4 trips to the nursery, one flea market trip, 6 magic markers, and two weeks to complete it.

Nothing is ever easy with me.

And now the chickens can't wait to scratch out the mulch...

Sigh....

At least I have a photo of how it looked good for about 5 minutes.....:(
