Taking Time

I copied this from my facebook...

So...........y'all know I love Facebook and my blog. I absolutely love keeping up with everyone and seeing everyone's photos....especially the babies...:))))) but......here lately I know that I have been spending too much time on it and my blog. It has become an idol for me.....and I must do something about it. So I'm going to get off the internet for a while....it may be a week or a month...who knows. I know I could just discipline myself better but I really feel like I need to spend a little more time with God.......in prayer or just in silence. I know I could use more prayers....my husband could use more prayers.....my children could use more prayers and I will be praying for all of you. It really seems that this country and all of us need prayers especially now. I know some of you have done this before and I see why. It's not a Facebook problem....it's a Lisa problem. So Happy Birthday to all of my October friends!! I will miss you all very much but I am in the phone book and if anyone needs or wants to talk...call me... I WILL be back!

So my fellow bloggers......I will miss you for a while but you will be in my heart and my prayers.

and

I WILL be back!!

And I will be right here waiting for you! That's why I use my blog so much for God now. Its part of my time with Him, thinking of Him, talking to Him, Listening to Him and working for Him!
I am so going to miss you. Hurry back! You are in my prayers until then.

I totally understand! I feel this way a lot of time too. Take all of the time you need. We can never get enough of His word. Have a blessed break!

Sometimes it all gets to be too much and I am doing and feeling the same way the past couple of weeks...and I will pray for you and your husband and your sons and your family too...we all need any and all extra prayers we can get and give. I love you my dear friend. Love and Hugs and Blessings especially for you.

It is good to step back. I pray every single day, for others mostly and a bit for me:) I blog when I have something I feel I want to share, or if I feel I want to participate in a linky. I do what I want with blogging and Facebook. And don't worry too much about it. It should be fun, not like a job. xo

I will miss your updates but I absolutely understand and have even had the same thoughts lately.

See you when you get back and enjoy your time off.

Aww, I really will miss you while you're gone! But I totally understand. Kudos to you for realizing this and taking the action to cut it out of your life for a while. I'll be praying for you. See you when you return, friend :)

Lisa,
I will really miss you but I totally understand... I have felt the same way at times and so far, either I haven't been obedient...or I prefer to think I just haven't been convinced that I should...yet. I know it's coming and I hope and pray I will be obedient. I will miss seeing your enjoyable posts and am so proud of and encouraged by you! don't be gone too long!

Blessings,
Debby

I enjoy reading your blog ever so much, Lisa, and I'll miss your posts. I do the same thing you're doing, though, in taking a break for a time. Sometimes it's just the right thing to do.

God bless ya!

Your blog is fun to read and part of that is because your Christianity shows through. Have a relaxing, blessed, and prayerful month. I look forward to you blogging again. Pat McDonald
