We went to the river today to see what "our" sandbar looked like.
Each year the river gets "out" and covers the sandbar and then the water
goes back down and you never know how it will leave the sandbar.
Sometimes it's gently slopes to the water....sometimes it's a steep bank to the water.
So the hubby, the dogs and I went to check it out.
It looked pretty good.
The dogs had a blast.......chasing the waves and running.
I put my feet in the sand.....
We did some target shooting...
some picture taking...
we watched the boats go by...
You can even check out the deer tracks!
It was a beautiful, peaceful day!

Your photo with the dogs is so beautiful, it reminds me . . . every time I have my photo taken, I pretend I'm with a dog. Even if there are other people in the photo - I pretend they are dogs. It's because I love dogs so much that I always have a nicer smile on my face and I always look much more relaxed and happy with dogs in the photo!
