Oh The Sky....The Sky!

We finally got some much needed rain yesterday evening and it was wonderful!

I walked outside to close the chicken coop door and I noticed that everything was glowing.

Now this is late in the evening.

I looked at the sky and this is what I see.

The flowers were so pretty in the light.

I haven't enhanced any of these photos.....

All of these were just illuminated by the good Lord above.

I was on the back side of the house and I noticed this bird on the roof of our house.

Whatcha looking at little birdie?

So I walk around to the front of the house.....

smart bird.

Reflecting off of our neighbors pond.

Nothing on television can compare to this (not even Dancing with the Stars)...:)

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.

Psalm 113:3

  1. Beautiful. One of my favorite parts of living in the country is the view in the sky.

Your chicken coop is adorable I don't think we have ever seen that view before. I love it.

  2. Oh...you are so right, sister...nothing can compare to a sky on fire like that one! Breathtaking! The clouds here in NC have been beautiful and we are getting your rain today here...so...maybe we'll get that beautiful sky too!

  3. Those photos are just beautiful! You caught the best time to be out snapping shots. You know that dawn and sunset are when we are allowed to see a glimpse of Heaven. Just a taste, just enough to make you want it more.
Smart bird. So glad you got some rain. We got sprinkles, but not enough to get the concrete wet, just enough to make a rainbow. ;)
